For several months, a group of women danced together twice a week in a space in Brussels. Gathered around the reality of what it means to be a single mother in 2023, they let themselves be carried along by the exploratory framework proposed by Natalia Weinger, contemporary dancer and circus artist. Much more than a dance project, it was a project of encounters, emotions, sharing and kindness.

 

Lisa Matthys directed a short film about this project to explore the daily life of these women.

The video-work will be screened in the frame of 'Pour la Solidarité', a European think and do tank.
